Congratulations to drummer Torsten Zwingenberger on his 50th stage anniversary!
In 1973, the native of Hamburg played his first paid gig in the local club “Barrett”. Since then he has been and is tirelessly touring with a wide variety of ensembles, currently including the Torsten Zwingenberger 4tet (with Patrick Braun, Kenneth Berkel, Carmelo Leotta), Berlin 21 (with Lionel Haas, Martin Lillich), the New Orleans Shakers and his brother, the boogie-woogie pianist, Axel Zwingenberger.
